delete a file from a directory through PHP

Hi,

I make a small module in PHP. Through this a user can upload a image from his site, and admin also has a option to delete it.

The images path deletes successfully from the database, but how can i delete the file from the folder through PHP code.

plz help me in this regard.

Could you post your code? Because I have no idea how its set up.
The unlink() function is used to remove files.
e.g. unlink("blah.txt"); would remove blah.txt.
