SSL Questions, that I can't find answers for

Hi

I'm programming a site at the moment in which i need to use SSL, but i'm confused about it.

Firstly i'm hosting it on a windows server, so i'm using IIS as my server. I've installed SSL before so thats not a problem. The problem is i've never programmed with SSL before.

Do i need to code anything to be able to use SSL, and if so can PHP interact with IIS to be able to use it.
