  • MAC Users & PHP

I'm not sure which thread it was in, but it was a little while ago, that I was trying to help out a user with a Mac.

His editor kept throwing garbage characters all over the place.

I'm just trying to install phpMyAdmin right now, and looking at the Documentation, it mentions that it doesn't seem to work well with Macs.

What it says is to ensure that you use Bbedit and save your scripts as unix style.

Maybe this may help some ppl,
    Sadiq.

Actually, this will help me alot. I have a FTP program called Transmit for the Mac, which will display the Crazy characters, but i have to be connected to the internet to use it. By BBEdit i am guessing you mean Bare Bones Editor (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/604)?

Edit: Here is the link to the Project's Website: http://www.barebones.com/products/bbedit/index.shtml
