i know that the last thing most of you would want to do is to help out a n00b, but i really want to learn php, and i dont want to get stuck with a dud tutorial. so does anyone know any? thanks.

not exactly sure that posting urls is permitted... but i have found some decent ones over at codewalkers on occassion... i would go buy a decent book. and just try and take a website one step or phase at a time ... if you start trying to do everything at once you will surely become frustrated.

posting urls are fine, as long as they're relevant to the thread and not just to get extra traffic to your site

There's plenty of tutorials out there, could try looking at these sites
