Hey all,
I just read about Snoopy in a recent post, and the context of that post lead me to think that cURL would be the one to use for the task.
This lead me to think that cURL and Snoopy are similar, the same, or two different tools used to accomplish the same types of tasks.
Reading this article:
has lead me to believe that Snoopy actually uses cURL.
My conclusion is that cURL is the technology that allows PHP developers to browse the web and download HTML and post to websites. I think Snoopy takes this one step further providing more specific functions with respect to fetching information from webpages, etc..
Snoopy's website is currently under maintenance, so I couldn't find out more information. Please post any questions, answers, or comments here.
