  • continually evolving word cloud

    Hi,

I am looking for a non-Flash based word cloud for my site that will save entries into the cloud, display all entries when visitors first visit my site, and then change with each new single word/phrase inputted by visitors (via a text box) into the cloud.

In other words, it will be a continually evolving word cloud on my site.

Anyone know of such a thing?

    Many thanks for any leads!

You could have a txt file and update that txt file each time someone enters a word, and output that file. You could also use a database, if you need to manipulate it better.

Thanks for your reply. That sounds possible.

What I am looking for should look like this http://answergarden.ch/view/9725 at the end. It has word counts on mouse-over; words fading in and out; even colors to the individual words; and other options. Unfortunately, the Answer Garden example is made from Flash, which I can not use (trying to design a non-flash site for the first time--kind of a self-test or challenge!)

      OR OR OR OR

Perhaps there is a way to take a standard wordle RSS feed (http://www.wordle.net/create) and convert it so that it takes text input from a text input box on site and then builds the word cloud that way?
