How to highlight a selected link

Hi,

I need to highlight the selected link. The links are populated from database.
The links are displayed in the left side of the page & the value of the selected link is displayed on the right side of the page.
How can this be done?

I don't follow what you mean by the value of a link. Links are usually used for navigation and so point to a url.

Can you post the html for these links.

that's the php code to create the links, not the actual ouputed html.
