    i am have some probs naming a file to .htpasswd

    can some one attach a .htpasswd file with nothing in it

    this would be a great help thank you!!!

        ah do you mean you can't create .htpasswd file locally in your computer ?
        It can only created or renamed at the server side by your FTP client or WebFTP or Web file manager.

              Here's a php script that'll do it. You could past it in the same folder where the file is.

              rename.php
              Code:
              <?php
              $from='ht.access';
              $to='.htaccess';
              rename($from, $to);
              }
              ?>
              easy aint it
