mobile programming for java or C++

Hi, I have some background in java but I would like opinions on which language is overall better for mobile programming, Java, or C++, some examples of mobile programming are the ipod touch, cell phones, and programmming for devices such as gps and others like that. Just state opinions on here of what you guys think is better.

It really depends which device you want to target. If you want to make iphone app then you'll want to learn C. If you want to target Andriod or phones that support J2ME then java is the choice there.
