Hi
Ive noticed recently that alot of people posting code (newer members) are not using the [php] tags. Often this is pointed out in the form of:
Please use:
[ php][ /php]
without spaces, or similar responses.
I have seen before (at least im sure it was on here anyway), people replying without removing the spaces, or people who may not know what you mean by "remove spaces" and dont add them in.
I have noticed that if you put:
[[b][/b]php]
code
[[b][/b]/php]
then it shows the exact code as the member would enter it:
(eg)
[php]
code
[/php]
... it may be clearer to newer members not familar with the use of PHP tags.
I dont know what you think of the idea, I usually put my tags like this. Its not going to solve all the problems but it may cut them down a little.
Just a thought
EDIT: Just so you know its not a problem with the code, the first example is meant to be bold.
Matt
