That email notification button...

Ok, is there any way that the email notification checkbox can be unchecked by default, sometimes I dont remember to uncheck it, and I get all these emails from responses - it's kind of annoying... if you could make it the other way around, I'm sure we'd all appreciate it

This is an option you control, not a default forum option. Click User Profile -> Edit Options -> Check the 'no' radio button beside "Use 'Email Notification' by default?" That should do ir .

I wish this option were broken into two categories:

• email notification for ALL threads to which you post
• email notification ONLY for threads that you started

But, at least we're given the first option.

hmm, Interesting idea.. I know the old board would send you an email whenever someone replied to the thread that you started - which means, if 5 people posted into your thread, you'd get 5 emails...

I wonder if there's anything in this forum like that?
