Why cant i add an Avatar?

Tried to add an avatar as i have been using the forum more often of late, but it seems im not allowed. Just wondering why, cant find anything in the faq section. Also (rather than create another post) where can i ask a question about JQuery if at all?

It is explained in the sticky thread of exactly this sub forum (though not all too obvious, I admit).

Questions about jQuery should be asked in the JavaScript frameworks sub forum (whose subtitle in the parent forum (Javascript) reads “Use this forum to get help on one of the popular JS frameworks, such as Prototype, jQuery, YUI etc.”).

I have been on here for a little over a year...
that's a lot more than three months...
And I have 50 posts....
Plus I have been thanked once.
I'm still learning but was able to help at least one person....
Still no Avatar?????

You are at exactly 50 right now. Perhaps you need just one more post...

Go help one more person and I think you'll get your avatar.

Ok so now I have 52 posts and I still see no Avatar??? Is it hidden somewhere?????? I would assume that some sort of option would appear in your profile.. I don't see it anywhere????

Hmm... Well that avatar was totally worth the wait. TOTALLY WORTH IT!

You could have at least put up a picture of an explosion or a unicorn or something... Come on! Give the people what they want!

But seriously, congrats on getting your avatar. I think you might also qualify for the "Active Members Lounge" forum now, too.

It's something I did in Photoshop me as a TieDye
