So I went to work today around 230pm where I was on the computer until then. I came home around 7 and ate dinner and jumped back on the computer where I discovered the highest resolution I could achieve was 1024x768. I like mine at 1152x864. I have the option of going to 1280x1024 and 1600x1200(but Hz is too high) as well as 800x600 and 1024x768. I've updated/reinstalled the drivers for my Intel Extreme integrated graphics 2 "card", but it made no difference.

I also tried to restart when this first happen and I had to repair by boot.ini because I got the error "unmountable boot volume" along with a wonderful blue screen of death even when trying to boot into safe mode. I've fixed that problem, but thought I might mention it.

Update: I just did a system restore to 1130am today and all my options are back for possble screen resolutions but when I try to change to one other then the two listed up there nothing happens. This also unupdated my driver I believe.

Sounds like you've had a few problems with that installation. If I was you, I'd backup my stuff and reinstall

But it's not an installation. The last time I reformated was a couple months ago. I don't know what happened to causes this. The computer wasn't rebooted since I was still logged into aim when I returned.
