  • telnet

    I want to test some pages in telnet which i was told should be on my cmputer system, windows 2000xp however when i go to Run- C:\WINDOWS:telnet.exe, it can't find it. Does anybody know where I can get it from. And What it actually is!

    Why did you add "C:\WINDOWS"?

    Start > Run > Telnet --- that's all it should take.

      just open a standard command prompt...

      type in

      telnet host 23

        telnet is in the %SystemRoot%\system32 directory
