Make a single folder password protected?

I want one folder on my win7 64bit machine to be password protected. As far as I know this isn't possible but does anyone have any suggestions?

Honestly forget about just password protecting through windows, it can easily be bypassed by booting up a Linux live disk or numerous other methods...... Go for proper encryption....

I also do recommend Encryption, Passwords are too vulnerable for potential hacks..
