wireless Network

I'm setting up wireless network, since it does not work I need to clarify some things:

If I open network settings in win xo I see two things:

1. Broadband , where there is my ADSL connection

2.Lan or highspeed internet
where there are:
a)local area connection
b)1394 connection
c) wireless connection

Apart from c form above all the rest was there before setting up wireless.


How are 1 and 2 connected ?
How does ADSL connection point to anything under 2. (Can't fnd anything like that there.)
Should anything be deleted from 1 and/or 2 ince I'm setting wireless ?
Should be created something new under 1 ?

In short:
1. deleted ADSL - probably not neeed
2. disanbled all but wireless
3. Synchronized network encryption and such stuff on router and usb wireless
They seem similar at start but must be identical !

Thanks for the info I was also having problem setting it up..
