dynamic progress bar help

Hi all. First of all, i must say this is a really good site.

Question: i am using the dynamic progress bar on a page. I like it, and it does a good job, but is there a way i could get it to count the percentage in the middle of the bar also, like an installation bar?

aside from programming a window in C++, is there a way it can be done?
