error on page

Today i was copying my splash page in notepad into my website and then I went to preview my website but none of the stuff on the spalsh page comes up.I mean like none of the writing that is supposed to me in there is there. And in that bottom little bar it has this white paper with a yellow triange or something and it says Error On Page. Do u guys no y this isnt working????
