  • CONVEYOR BELT SCRIPT - can I add popup window links?

    Hello,

    I have successfully found and copied the 'conveyor belt' script (wonderful!!) and found out how to edit it so that links are added to the images (well, as my first time using scripts and ALL things HMTL and webstuff !! - I was impressed !!)...

    my question is now, is it possible to add a script for a popup window (which I have got and tested independently) into the conveyor 'script' so that a click on the image opens a popup window instead of changing page??
    Thank you for understanding (my terminology might be a little "out" !!)
    regards

    One way is to find the subroutine that writes the URL for the new page and insert target=\"new\"

    the page will open in a new window when clicked

    Edit:
    Reflecting, new is ok, but taget="\_blank\" is the standard for
    new window

        for images/urls 0-4 or however many you need
        (replace proper url names for url1 etc.
        proper image name for dynamicbook1.gif etc.)
        I've tested it in conveyor and it works

        leftrightslide[0]='<a href="http://url1" target="_blank"><img src="dynamicbook1.gif" border=1></a>'

        leftrightslide[1]='<a href="http://url2" target="_blank"><img src="dynamicbook2.gif" border=1></a>'

        leftrightslide[2]='<a href="http://url3" target="_blank"><img src="dynamicbook3.gif" border=1></a>'

        leftrightslide[3]='<a href="http://url4" target="_blank"><img src="dynamicbook4.gif" border=1></a>'

        leftrightslide[4]='<a href="http://url5" target="_blank"><img src="dynamicbook5.gif" border=1></a>'

          WOW !!! THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

          Dear Gary...

          Yes... IT DOES WORK !! PRAISE GOD...

          Thank you for that... (I did try putting the script for popup window at that point in the 'formula' but it didn't work ...) however, your addition did - thats great !

          One further point - if I may... Can the new window be made to open in a specific size ie... 400 x 300 pixels (and be sizable)???
          That way, It doesnt obscure the rest of the site when the new window opens...

          Appreciate your help..
          thanks
          Jayne
