I need help with AJAX. I want to UPDATE my DB without refreshing. I don't really know how to do this. I have found piece of code online but for some reason is not working. Another thing is : how to make run PHP code after 5 minutes. For example: someone push the button and after 5 minutes my DB will be updated. Any Ideas?

    Hi.
I guess following article may help,
    at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/...etting_Started

Or perhaps we could start from that piece of code you found.
    Could you paste it here?

      thank you for your reply.
I will share my code later. I'm at work right now :-) it's just pain in the neck. I have a lot of things that I want to make it without refreshing on my website.

        WHY?

Usually that's an indication of something wrong with the site itself; like excessive bloat or poor separation of concerns.

...and if you DO insist on doing it with scripting, whatever technique you settle on SHOULD have conventional page-loads as a fallback. It's often easier to write it to work properly without scripting first so you can get server-side stuff (what's REALLY important) tacked down in the corners before you start layering scripting atop it. At least if you care in the slightest about usability and accessibility. JavaScript only solutions should be your enemy!
