converting VB macros to work with Host on Demand

I'm not sure if this is even the forum I need but it's my starting point. I am trying to find out how I would go about converting VB macros to work with IBM Host on Demand. They are mainly cut & paste functions from Excel to an Extra session and vice versa. We are changing platforms to IBM Host on Demand which I believe works with XML and Javascripting. Can anyone give me some suggested resources?
