  • Searching with Relative Keywords Within Your Own Page

I have a web page that is set as a help tutorial. I am trying to figure out how to have a input text search for a subject relative to what the person entered

let's say that the person enters

    | password | | Go |

then a new page would load with in itself with the avaliable pages on that subject. Something like typing in a search engine, but within your own pages..

    Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance!

      Thanks

Thanks again for all of the help, but I am unsure about this website that you suggested. I am going to read up on it, and if I am still confused I will post again.

        The Suggested Site...

I dislike the setup and would rather not user their services. But thank you for your help. Is there any other way that I could look for certain pages with spedificed words in them?

        -------------------------------------------------------------------

user inputs | passwords | and hits | go |. All of the pages that have "password" somewhere on it, will show up in a link by the page's title..

let's say that i (user) search for pancakes in the input text and hit go..

        How To/Making Pancakes/
        How To/Making Pancakes/Precautions

Those are the pages that have "pancakes, or relative information about pancakes on them."

I could click on one of the links and go to that page..

I am thinking that I could GET the page title, and supply it as the link name, then the URL of the Title will alreay be supplied..

Also, I am thinking that maybe I could just set up a navigation section for easier surfing..

        EXP

        .. name
        .. username
        .. your name
        .. password
        .. password protection
        .. your password

and so on and so forth
but that would bring me to a whole new problem..

        menus, and drop downs..
