I don't know if you can save a website to view offline by JS but this link shows you how to bookmark a site. Personally i don't see how people would like a site saved automatically without them knowing. This may draw away users.

doing anything like this without the user's permission is unethical. pure and simple. sounds to me as though you're up to no good.

I was offering help and my personal opinion that users may not want a website saved without them knowing. I gave the script for how to bookmark a website and said that i don't think that you can save a website and close it automatically using JS. I don't know how that can give you an idea that i was spreading viruses.

again, I'm not accusing you of spreading viruses. i was suggesting that Janlee could be trying to do something no good, such as spread viruses or even spam. it's an old technique. seen it done before.

Originally I was not thinking open and save the files automatically.

In true...I wanted 'open' the web pages into / inside an <iframe> , butalso automatically, from this frame I will gather the links.

I am interested in collect links only!

I am thinking this task on search engines pages.

MW: when I posted my first response (the one which originally mentions being up to no good), it was directed at Janlee, even though I quoted you. in fact, I quoted you because I was agreeing with you. this is where you made YOUR mistake: you thought I was saying that you were being nefarious, when I was underlining your point with my own.

now when you replied I misread your post. I thought you said "why up to no good", as in "why is HE [Janlee] up to no good". so I then replied with what I thought he was up to. this was YOUR second mistake - not seeing that I was commenting on the OP's activities and not your own comment.

Far from me viruses! Sometimes ago I as 'visited' by a virus which put a script at the end of all my scripts in JS and .asp (more than 10000).

Now, I want collect link for my website, but I not found help!
