Adding Scrollbar to Sorted List via Quicksand

So there is a list that is sorted using quicksand.

When page loads there is a scrollbar for the list, container has a height and overflow:auto applied.

When the quicksand plugin filters the items and then rearranges them, it loses the scrollbar.

how can I get it back?
