  • First Post - Can someone look at this code ?

    hello everyone, I was hoping someone can look at this and see if they see anything wrong.

    Thanks for any help.

    The problem is users are not receiving emails from the system. this is the chunk of code regarding the email form.

    Code:
    //Balaji starting to add the email notification
    		    function set_emailnotify_value()
    		       {
    		           if (document.first.email_notify.checked)
    		             {
    		    	       top.frames[0].frames[1].document.ISSUEUPForm.p_email_notify.value ="Y";
    		             }
    		             else
    		             {
    		    	      top.frames[0].frames[1].document.ISSUEUPForm.p_email_notify.value ="N";
    		    	     }
    		        }

                    // Balaji ending

                </SCRIPT>
    </HEAD>
    <BODY BACKGROUND="/en/images/form_title/form_bg.gif" TOPMARGIN=0 LEFTMARGIN=5 MARGINHEIGHT=0 MARGINWIDTH=5">
    <form method =post name = first>
    <TABLE  valign="CENTER" calign="CENTER" height=100% width=100%>
    <TR>
    <TD ALIGN=LEFT WIDTH =1%>
    <INPUT TYPE="checkbox" NAME="email_notify" onClick="set_emailnotify_value()" CHECKED >
    </td>
    <TD ALIGN="LEFT" valign="CENTER" ><DIV CLASS="PTEXT">Send Email Notification</DIV></TD>
    <TD ALIGN=CENTER width =35%>
    <A HREF="javascript:ProcessPost()"><IMG SRC="/en/images/formbuttons/fb_create.gif" BORDER=0 HEIGHT=22 WIDTH=81 ALT="Create" ALIGN="CENTER"></A>

    thanks again for any help.

    You aren't showing anything at all relevant to the actual emailing.

    All that code does is copy the state of a checkbox from the <FORM> named "first" to the <FORM> named "ISSUEUPForm".

    And then we can presume that clicking on the image does something, but you don't show WHAT (if anything) it does. You don't even show the form named "ISSUEUPForm".
    Be yourself. No one else is as qualified.
