  • Want to simultaneously control multiple dropdowns on a page

    Hello

    I have a webpage where there are multiple dropdowns, all with the same options (it's a comment-management page on a Movable Type system).

    I'd like to be able to control these all with a single-click, and though I know very little about javascript (sorry), it strikes me that a script could do this for me.

    So, each dropdown looks something like this in the source..

    Code:
    <select name="moderation_options" id="2878" class="no_auto_select">

    			<option value="nothing" selected>Select...</option>

    			<option value="approve" >Approve</option>

    			<option value="defer" >Defer</option>

    			<option value="delete" >Delete</option>

    			<option value="reject" >Reject</option>

    			<option value="junk" >Junk</option>

    			<option value="moderate" >Pending</option>

    	</select>
    What I'd like to be able to do is have a single button somewhere on the page which calls a script that would set all the dropdowns on the page to Approve. Then I'd hit 'save changes', and they'd all go through.

    Or, possibly even better, I could have a bookmarklet that would do it.

    If someone could help me do that, I'd be very grateful..
