  • javascript: window.open without opening a new window

    Hi

I am a newbee so please be kind with my questions.

I am trying to figure out how I can open a url in the same window wrom which it has been called. I can't use a target cause i need it for a script that has to be implemented in about a hundred different sides.

location.href is also not feasable as I am within a framework and need to change some parameters of the location.

After quiet some wok i have managed to write a script that provides the requiered url, but no I am just suck in calling it.

So is ther an option in order to use the same window for windows open or do you know an alernative way to open a url in the windows that it has been called from (java scrip?)

Can you formulate your question with a bit more proper English? From what I think I understood you want links to open in a window that you have opened using window.open, no matter what link is clicked?
