  • Safari overflow-y:scroll doesn't work

    Hi,
I'm having an issue with the overflow-y:scroll attribute of a div. When displayed in Firefox and IE, it works fine (the div gets scrollbars). However, in Safari, no scrollbars appear and the content overflows as if there were no style at all.

Any ideas why? Is there a known bug, or incompatibility? There is nothing special about the div (no relative positioning, etc) - the only style is the overflow-y attribute and the height attribute.

    Thanks for any help.

As far as I know overflow-x and overflow-y are planned to be CSS 3 properties and aren't just supported by all browsers yet (funnily IE supports it since Version 5 already).
