  • iFrame Scrollbar Style from External Stylesheet

    I am trying to change the style of my scrollbar in IE for all of my frame pages. I use an external stylesheet called frames.css to style each page that will be loaded into the template page. When I add:

    body {
    width: 675px;
    height: 100%;
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
    color: #000000;
    background-color: #B0B0B2;
    scrollbar-3dlight-color:#B0B0B2;
    scrollbar-arrow-color:#5284B2;
    scrollbar-base-color:#B0B0B2;
    scrollbar-darkshadow-color:#B0B0B2;
    scrollbar-face-color:#B0B0B2;
    scrollbar-highlight-color:#B0B0B2;
    scrollbar-shadow-color:#B0B0B2;
    scrollbar-track-color:#B0B0B2;
    }

    to that external style sheet... the scrollbar is unaffected by it and I do not know why. Must I embed these details using the <style> tags on every single page? If so I will not do it because it defeats the purpose of using CSS.
    Once I thought I was wrong but I was mistaken.

    It would go in your iframed pages but you have to declare it to the html css as well.
    Code:
    html,body {
    scrollbar-3dlight-color:#B0B0B2;
    scrollbar-arrow-color:#5284B2;
    scrollbar-base-color:#B0B0B2;
    scrollbar-darkshadow-color:#B0B0B2;
    scrollbar-face-color:#B0B0B2;
    scrollbar-highlight-color:#B0B0B2;
    scrollbar-shadow-color:#B0B0B2;
    scrollbar-track-color:#B0B0B2;
    }
    body {
    width: 675px;
    height: 100%;
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
    color: #000000;
    background-color: #B0B0B2;
    }
    No need for units on 0 values.

      That was why, I only had it in the body section. Thank you very much, simple problem simple solution.
