I think he's talking about frames

      Code:
      <a href="page.html" target="frame2">Link</a>
(that's what you put in the fist frame)

      frame2 will change.

      Code:
      <frame id="frame2" src="frame.html"></frame>
that's the code you must use for the second frame (frame2)

oh, and if you have links in the second frame you want to have open in the first frame:

      Code:
      <frame id="frame1" src="frame1.html"></frame>
the code to make the first frame (frame1)
      Code:
      <a href="page2.html target="frame1">Link2</a>
the code used to make a link in frame2 that will open in frame1.
i'm only 12, gimme some slack

He PM'ed me, think he does mean a transition.

Have a look at this page, cusx (they are IE only though)-

        http://www.jansfreeware.com/articles...ansitions.html

That site probably uses the fade transition, couldn't be bothered to look through code.
