    hi there,

I need some help and hope that maybe one of you can help me out. I have seen it on other websites where the page is in the center of the screen. I am using frontpage to make my webpages. What I would like to do is have the webpage display in the center of the screen, and instead of to the left side of the screen? If anyone can help with this, please post or help direct me to where I can find more help.

    One more time

See 1 small question for the answer, or use to search facility to find any of the other threads concering this topic. I can't possibly tell you how to do this in Frontpage, though; it probably has some nifty menu option somewhere that generates 10k of superfluous, proprietary code where as a simple style rule would do the trick... sorry, I just am no fan of Frontpage.
    Regards,
    Ronald.

        Learn to code

Tough question, depends on what the purpose and size of your website is, and your skill level; in any case, I would recommend learning (X)HTML and CSS and to code by hand using a text editor. No matter which tools you use lateron on which site, getting to grips with the "nuts 'n bolts" behind it will always benefit you and the end result.
For small personal and simple business sites Frontpage might work, but the fact that - at least earlier versions, don't know about the latest one - it generates messy, invalid, non-standard-compliant code, it'll never get any respect within the design community.
A better alternative would be DreamWeaver, although pricy, but the learning curve for this one is much steeper and without basic knowledge of (X)HMTL and CSS the results won't likely be that much better then what FP spits out.
        Regards,
        Ronald.

          Surely that's an oxymoron?

            Well, yeah...

You could suggest it for the Oxymoron list...
