Print Stylesheets: Help!

We figured our main issues out RIGHT after I posted this.

But if anybody has any recommended resources for creating Print Stylesheets, feel free to post 'em here. Or we could just start a Print Stylesheet pow-wow in here.

P.S. Don't post the ALA article, we're familiar with that one.

I know I may not be a mod here, but in the future it helps if you post an answer to your original question if you work it out, rather than removing the question and saying you sorted it, as this means other people that may have the same problem can search and find the answer in the thread.

Good point, missing score.

In short, here's what we had going on:

-Our layout was all CSS, and centered using the negative margin method. So we had a container div with absolute positioning shifted from the left 50%, and then offset back to the left with a negative margin since just doing left: 50% will put the left most corner at 50%, and not the middle of your whole container.

-For our Print Stylesheet then, we simply removed the absolute positioning rules for the container, so when we previewed for print, we were confused as to why everything was shifted off the left side of the page.

-What we failed to realize is that without specifying position: static for the container in the print sheet, it inherited the absolute positioning from the default stylesheet. The negative left margin was what was shifting it off the page.

One of those obvious things that just didn't hit us at first.
