is iframe a search engine friendly?

Just wondering...

And if anyone found a page via search engine, will it open whole page with iframe in it or just a page itself which could means no nav menu?

Because I'm thinking of making a nice personal design layout with small iframe in it.

No, iframes aren't anything friendly...
If a user does find one of your orphaned iframe pages it will be displayed on its own. Unless you use some JS in the iframe pages to make them check that they are inside the parent page.
