    vBulletin is software you have to pay for, but http://www.phpBB.com is free.

        I've used phpBB before - it seems pretty good. The next version should be even better.

        I think that Invision Power Board is pretty good, I think you can download a free version of it.... but the site seems to bury it away.

        With these boards you will need a host that supports PHP and MySQL, which wont be free. If you need a board that is hosted elsewhere, you'll find that: 1 - It'll be covered in advertizments, and 2 - that google has a whole lot of them

        Any problems?

          Try proboards.com, it's remotely hosted and not as sophisticated as some others, but it's free.

            Ill get the Lexingot Distric 5 server so yea i guess it supports php

              the phpbb lisense agreement basically tells me i can do what ever i want with it correct?

              and then how do i proceede once i uploaded the phpbb on the server?
