Html Marquee doesnt shows well in IE :(

It works in Firefox but doesnt work in IE, why?
I am using the fix marquee from this webby

i change to "top" on the following coding,however it couldnt work in IE.

var dhtmlgoodies_marqueePosition = 'top'; // "top" or "bottom"

Help help
