  • Trouble aligning forms

    I have a two part form on this page. The two sections need to be side by side NOT one above the other. I got them to align correctly in FF and IE8. I cannot get them side by side in Chrome/Safari/IE9. The only way I got them to align was by using negative margins - I think that's what may be causing the problems in other browsers. Each side of the form is wrapped in its own class:

    .first_half {float: left; width: 450px; padding-right: 65px;}
    .second_half {float: left; width: 450px;margin-right: -470px;}
    Any suggestions would be helpful.

    I would suggest fixing the few errors you have. Some of which can cause your issues, like unclosed tags.
