Question about tables

My questions is better shown , if u look here http://www.clanladder.com it doesnt matter if your on 800x600 or 1024 x 768 ths site fits in ok , meaning no scrolling across ,

i know how to do this nearly only 1 thing i dont

i knwo to set teh table to 100% and have 3 images 1 for the right , 1 left and 1 in the middle , but as u can see from that site the middle images streches out as the page gets bigger, i think it's called a spacer, no sure, i want to know how this is done

do u justify the images left and right ? and make the middle 1 100% aswell ?

any help would be helpful

It looks to me like they have a table with 3 columns, 2 images and a background image.

The first column has the picture in the top left: top left image
The third column has the picture at the top right
and the middle column has a background image of the blue lines so that when you stretch the browser, the background image repeats intself over and over giving the impression it is stretching the first image.

It would depend on your image as to whether you could make this happen for your site.
