    So what was the solution? (I'm curious as to what the problem was.)
    Learn CSS. | SSI | PHP includes | X/HTML Validator | CSS validator | Dynamic Site Solutions
    Java != JavaScript && JScript != JavaScript
    Design/program for Firefox (and/or Opera), apply fixes for IE, not the other way around.

      I'm guessing the problem might have been something like this in code:
      Code:
      <a href="url"><img src="image"> </a>
      Note the space after the IMG element before "</a>". I have found that this can occasionally cause an unusual line to appear, making it look like an underscore.
      PHP Code:
      $hello file_get_contents('hello.txt'); echo $hello
      hello

        when i first got on the net in 1996 i used netscape editor to make my first page. when you made an image link it would do that very thing.

        <a href="url"><img src="image"> </a>

        then you had to open it in notepad to edit out the space. what a pain in the rear.

              I'm guessing it was just text-decoration since it was a link. The space made the blue line.
