  • why horiz. scrolling?

    On my page here: http://dev.powerwd.com/MSX%20Security/

I can't figure out why it is trying to scroll horizontally? I want it 100% of the current browsing window, but I don't want it scrolling sideways.

    100% + 1px + 1px + 5px + 5px > 100%

So remove the width from #header. Non-floated, non-absolutely positioned block-level elements have a default width of 100%.

As Kravvitz correctly points out, the box model in CSS defines width as width-setting + padding + margin + border width.
