  • I don't entirely know how to explain myself!!!

I'm trying to find some kind of code or something for this.

Like I want to have like this one big picture and you'd be able to click on different parts of the picture to go to different sites or different sections of the sites, do any yous know what i'm talking about?

if somebody could help me with this I would soooooooo deeply appreciate it!!!!!

        Image maps

Image maps can seem daunting to someone who has never built one. The easiest way is to use a graphics program with image mapping capabilities. If you are using a graphics program, tell us which one and we may be able to tell you how to do this easily!
Common programs: Photoshop (with ImageReady), Paint Shop Pro, Canvas, Xara X, Serif DrawPlus or PhotoPlus, plus many others. If you don't have a suitable program, you can download Serif's PhotoPlus 5 for free, and it has a fully functional image mapping tool. Go here to check it out :

From the smoothest photo editing and design software to next-gen page layout, Affinity is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with creative technology.

If you need more help, just ask!

Homesite also has a handy image map feature.

Frontpage has one too. It isn't the greatest but it gets the job done.

              Image Mappers

theres a good program called MapEdit, it's been ages since i used it though...

I find it more "useable" to split the image up into a number of smaller ones, as events (such as onclick, onmouseover...) dont work in many browsers on image maps (please correct me if im wrong ), if you think thats a better way to go then check out this thread

There is also this site if you want to learn about image maps. It doesn't explain them a whole lot, just gives you good examples. I just thought maybe it would be easier. Oh and the examples are towards the bottom of the page. Good Luck!!

Fireworks and Dreamweaver both have full mapping capabilities (incl standard Square, Oval and a nifty hand drawn "polygon" tool as well).

Just so you know, you've replied to a guy who's been spamming his name and associated backlinks on various old posts for a few days using different usernames. This thread is a month short of 6 years old.
