anti aliase effect in a transparent image

I created a transparent image (checked antialiase check box) and put the image in a grey and blue background and I see a white border. How can I create a transparent image without the border in Photoshop 7?

I have attached the image below.

Welcome to the terrible world of gif.
Due to it's binary opacity (on or off), you can't make an anti-aliased circle with smooth edges. You have to make sure that every pixel is either coloured (in this case orange) or clear.

Thanks for the help. It really looks good. Can you tell me the secret how you did this? Bec. I have to create a whole bunch of images like this (transparent). Did you use photoshop or something else?

Yep, I used photoshop, and simply zoomed waaaaay in till I could get a good, clear view of every pixel.
Then I put a layer behind the shape so I could see the edges better. The colour of the back layer was bright blue for maximum contrast.
The next step is to take pencil tool with a brush size of 1px and colour the edges of your object so that all pixels which you wish to be part of the shape are a solid colour, the same colour as the rest of the shape. Now take the eraser and remove any pixels that you do not wish to be part of the shape (anti-aliasing will make many of these).
Delete your backgruond layer (the blue one put in for contrast) and export your image as a transparent gif.
