Nope, this is the proper forum for this thread. Fallen Angel's site is composed of Java Applets as much as it is JavaScript. Being the General web building design forum, this forum is the proper place for a wide range of topics. Only a question that is JavaScript, Server side, XML, etc. specific would not have a place here (essentially). The question asked is not language specific, but rather more of a 'testing' / 'general examination' type of request. Just wanted to clarify .

          WWWaaaaayyyyy too much.

I had problems just getting the page to load - very slow, and on my humble little machine, it did not like all the Java applets.

It would be better to use just one of the "lake" effects as a way of introducing the page, then put the other details on seperate pages to give the "site" a better structure.

As far as the javascript error, the head tag is closed prior to the roadmap code. Move it (the closing tag for the head section) to just before the body tag. This may fix the problem

IMHO a well constructed page/site is one that uses subtle effects as opposed to lots of "in your face" effects. Not saying what you done is wrong, bad or incorrect, its just that it seems way too much.

Good design will always look better than average design with lots of effects thown at it. (This coming from the worlds worst designer of web sites - lucky I have a graphic artist here). The basic design is good, fits with the theme (from what I can see) of the wedding, and has some neat graphics, its just spoilt by over the top effects.

I would sugest the one applet, and a couple of pics that link to the relevant area, say one for the groom, one for the bride, one for the key details and one for general information. This way visitors can quickly find the information they want without having to scroll through heaps of information and large graphics.

Hope this helps, sorry if it is a little too critical, please take it as constructive!

Since i'm behind a firewall that somehow disables applets, i found it a bit disappointing that i didn't see anything beyond a cursor trail (yawn...), a bunch of grey rectangles (the applets) and a "next" button, which after clicking showed... well, the same.
                How 'bout a little text?
                Regards,
