  • Transparent IFRAMES ?? help please

I have a bground picture on my default page, in the centre i have an IFRAME but when ever it loads the pages into the IFRAME it shows the pages default white background. i cannot cut the picture and set as bground into the inner pages as each page is a diffrent lengh Is there anyway to make the Iframe transparent and the inner pages transparent so that the Iframes show the text in the inner pages on top of the bground picture

Soz if my lingo is not up to much I is just a newbie .

    Try this:

    <IFrame src="your_page.html" frameborder="0" transparency="true"></IFrame>

Let me know if that helps...

Ok, that didn't make sense to me (maybe I'm over tired - I don't know)... what do you mean it worked in the IFRame

        post a screenshot or something...

It'll always show the background of the page - I don't think it's possible to 'see through' the background of the page in the IFrame

be carefull though, cause IE and Netscape (as well as other browsers) will position things differently.. so it may not look as good in all browsers...
