Using user-entered values to populate a pie chart

Hi all,

I am currently in the process of creating a website. The idea is that when users first login, they are presented with a popout box which asks them 2/3 questions, to which they can chose a number of specified answers. This data would then be used to populate a pie chart which would show up-to-the-minute info on what other users have chosen as their answer. I presume that some sort of database would be needed to store such values and then populate the pie chart. Has anyone got an idea of how I would go about this?

What you want to do is called a poll. See this article:
