Hi there,
I hope I am in the right place for this. Anyway, I saw a nifty function on the website for Trent Reznor's new band "How to destroy angels" (www.howtodestroyangels.com) where, to download his EP, you have to input your email adress first and that triggers a download window.
I can't seem to find a decent example of how this is performed online. That is most likely because I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. I'm not sure what the best language to write this in would be for the utmost simple way to write it. Does anybody have experience with forms like these? Can anybody direct me to a tutorial on this? Specifically one that focuses on how the website stores the email and makes it available to the webmaster afterwards?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm in the dark on this one.
