Expression Web Questions

Hi, have a friend that wants to buy Expression Web 4 and was just curious if it was as much crap as frontpage was..lol He used Fp to create his current site years ago and is now having trouble updating his site with it.

Just looking for any feedback and thoughts, negative or positive about Ex. Web 4. Thanks.

Expression Web has nothing to do with FrontPage, it's a different product. I'm still on Expression Web 2.* (didn't even know there was a 4 out), and it's a pretty good tool.

I knew nothing about this product till recently... like 5 min ago recently... I thought it's features looked pretty spiffy... Question for you... Have you used visual studio? I use 2010 and after seeing this was wondering if it would be worth my time "tinkering" with

Sorry no, I haven't. I'm not really a MS developer type. I use Expressions Web largely because it can manage a web site as a whole package, and the editor is not half bad (contextual editing, coloring, etc). I know it's part of a larger suite of tools, but I don't have experience with any of the others.
