    Hello ppl,

    I just installed Netscape 7.0 preview release 1.0.......
    I just wanted to know why the pages render a bit differently in NS7 and NS6. Do they use different engines?

    The NS7 PR release is based on the Mozilla 1.0 RC3 codebase. All NS6 releases were based on relatively much older releases.

    Still both are based on the Mozilla codebase, but the differences in builds may result in better, faster, and more accurate rendering in NS7.

          NS 7? IE 7? what happened to the 6.5's? i'm taking it they named it NS 7 so that poeple will think "wow, new version" and download it right?

            Typical Netscape - UPDATE, but don't be compatible with earlier versions of itself.

            Crazy browser.
