Limit Character Length in Dynamic Text Field

Hi Guys,

Is there a simple way to Limit the amount of characters that can be inputted into a Dynamic Text Field?

When changing it to input text, i get the option of setting the maximum character length but not for Dynamic text.

Is there a piece of actionscript that will do this?

I don't have a code snippet, but you can make a listener that checks when the field is changed, calculate its length, and proceed appropriately.
